Whew. The first quarter of the year is already wrapping up—so much, so fast.

Lately, I’ve found myself leaning more and more into meditation. It helps me stay centered in a world that often feels anything but. When you work in a place where you're confronted daily by people who aren’t always kind, who aren’t honest, or who operate from a deeply narcissistic place—it can take a toll.

Now, some may say, “To know that, you must be around it.” Not true. I just call a spade a spade.

Here’s what I do know about myself: I’m kind. I’m honest. I love people. And I also have a strong sense of character—I can feel it right away.

Watching narcissism in action is unsettling. But encountering dishonesty? That’s even more disturbing. Because when someone lies so often, they can no longer distinguish between truth and falsehood—that’s a dangerous space to operate from.

The more profound message here is simple: Be self-aware -- Know how you treat people. Check in with yourself often.

As Maya Angelou said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."

So choose kindness, Choose truth, and watch how that energy circles right back to you.
